Final Inspection

The castings which are ready for dispatch are inspected for followings before dispatch.

• Surface finish – reference standard MSS-SP-55
• Parting line, raiser area fettling,
• Profiles of the castings as per drawing,
• Dimensional inspection as per QAP,
• Marking details as per drawing,
• NDT requirements as per Purchase Order,
• Specific requirements as per Purchase Order
• Tensile, Impact and other requirements as per Specification.
• Pickling and passivation of SS castings is ensured.
• Applying rust preventive oil / red oxide paint is ensured as per customer requirement.

The dimensional inspection of proof / complete machined castings is carried out on 100% basis.
