Heat Treatment

ESPL is equipped with 3 Heat Treatment Furnaces.

• 2000Kgs Batch capacity Electric Bogie Hearth Furnace
• 4000Kgs Batch Capacity Electric Bogie Hearth Furnace
• 2000Kgs Batch Capacity Oil Fired Furnace.

Thermal Survey of the Heat treatment furnace is done annually unless otherwise the furnaces are reconditioned / re-lined. The controllers, thermocouples are calibrated once in 3months. The calibration is done by NABL approved agency.
For Hardening & Solution Annealing Cycles, Water tank of 35,000Ltrs capacity with complete agitating and circulation system is provided. Bath Temperature before and after quenching is recorded.
